Right Price Real Estate Group was founded from a passion to help people buy and sell real estate. Our passion has led us to develop a full-service real estate company that provides our services at greatly reduced prices.
Our listing service allows our clients to dramatically save on real estate listing fees. Our clients never pay more than a 1% listing fee (based on the final purchase price of the property sold).
Our $500 For Sale by Owner Flat Fee Listing Service is designed to elimate real estate agent commission fees--meaning the seller's hard-earned equity is put in the seller's bank account and not a real estate agent or their broker's bank account!
We do not exist for the sole purpose of "getting rich!" A percentage of Right Price Real Estate Group's company profits are directed toward charitable groups that help the less fortunate, as well as other people in crisis. We aim to help direct funds to organizations that serve the communities we live and work in. Best of all, we ask our clients to help choose charitable groups in their communities that are important to them.

In addition, no Right Price Real Estate Group real estate agent will ever ask you to list your home while you are selling "For Sale by Owner." That would simply be against every principal we stand for.
Back in March, 2018, Right Price Real Estate Group founder, Rich Schaefer and his wife, sold their personal home from an outlying smaller remote community to relocate to Oregon's capital city, Salem. Even though Rich was an independent brokerage (with no agents), he was "urged" by the Oregon Real Estate Agency to list with a real estate agent (to mitigate the chances of a buyer claiming he took advantage of them during a sale). Even though he held on offer for $20,000 more than his asking price (from an open house he conducted the day before---Sunday), he heeded the advice of the Oregon Real Estate Agency and hired a local real estate broker. Rich and his wife lost about $11,000 in equity value do to paying real estate commissions. Rich has been on a mission to help property owners retain their hard-earned equity since his property closed escrow.
We offer additional services which may be beneficial to home sellers when selling for sale by owner. These optional paid services include: posting to the local as well as nationwide multiple listing service. Syndicating your FSBO property to websites that buyers expect to find properties listed for sale (Zillow, Redfin, etc). Sending out "New on the Market" or "Open House" postcards to the nearest 100 homeowners in your neighborhood (so they can let their friends, relatives, family, and co-workers know your home is for sale). These services are low cost and designed to create maximum marketing exposure (as well as save the FSBO home seller time) to get the home sold quickly.
Although we hate to see anyone give up their "For Sale by Owner" dream, we know that situations change. At Right Price Real Estate Group, our promise is that our seller clients will never pay more than a 1% listing service fee (our traditional listing service fee). To stay true to our 1% promise, if you choose to use any of Right Price Real Estate Group's optional paid For Sale by Owner service products, those product service fees will be subtracted from the real estate listing fee charge (whether 1/2% Flat Fee Listing Service or 1% Traditional Listing Service). We want to be upfront in our fees and offer the best value and service in the real estate industry clearly gaining a separation in the market from our competition.
What is this Client First Mentality?
At Right Price Real Estate Group, we are very deliberate in how we treat and offer services to our clients. We want to build a real estate practice that people will be glad to recommend to their friends, family, relatives and co-workers when they are looking for professional real estate services. Historically, about 75% of home sellers will repurchase another property. At Right Price Real Estate Group, our goal is to provide such an indepth, professional and easy For Sale by Owner experience, that our home seller clients will trust us to get them ready to purchase their next property and allow us to help select a real estate agent (that mirrors our values) to assist them in purchasing their next property. Full disclosure: This is our main strategy to earn income. The agent that gets our referral will then pay us a portion of the real estate commission they earn when they help the referred client purchase and close on a property. Zig Ziglar said "You can have whatever you need, the key is simply helping enough people get what they need." Sounds simple enough to me!
