Why we are different--
It was March 21, 2018. My wife and I had just sold our home in Sheridan, Oregon and were moving to Salem, Oregon. We had just opened our own independent real estate brokerage.
As we drove home from the escrow company, I experienced my "aha" moment.
I had just given away about $11,000 in equity to real estate commissions.
I was frustrated. I felt the same regret that every client I had ever sold a home for expressed--shock over how much the real estate commission was.
It was humbling.
I told my wife that we are going to change how real estate is transacted.

I was always taught success in real estate sales was determined by how many gross commissions income (GCI) dollars I earned in a year. Each year I would establish myself a GCI goal and work on achieving that GCI goal.
When I started Right Price Real Estate Group, I wanted to create a different mindset for how success was measured. To do this, I determined that our success would be measured by how much equity we helped our clients retain through less real estate commission dollars loss in the sale of a home.
To create this mindset model, I employed the REAR (Real Estate Assets Retained) model. This model would set a yearly goal of how many real estate assets were retained through reduced or non-existent real estate commission fees.
By kicking traditional real estate practices in the REAR, we would empower homeowners to retain the equity in one of their most important assets--the valuable built up through home ownership.
Our goal in 2025 is to help home owners retain $250000 in real estate assets that would have been lost through a traditional real estate listing and sales model approach.
