Right Price Real Estate Group is based in Salem, and our service area runs the entire length of the valley — from the Portland Metro in the north, through Salem-Keizer and Corvallis-Albany in the middle, to Eugene and Lane County in the south.
Wherever you are in the Willamette Valley, the offer is the same: free FSBO coaching, Triple MLS syndication, every legally required Oregon form, and 1:1 support from a licensed Oregon principal broker. No listing fee. No 6% commission.
Salem is where we are based. It is not the limit of where we work. If you are in Portland, Eugene, or anywhere between, you get the same service on the same free terms.

How it works, wherever you are
Coaching by video and phone
1:1 sessions are done over video or phone, so a seller in Portland gets the same access as a seller in Salem. No travel, no scheduling around a commute.
Forms delivered digitally
Every legally required Oregon form and disclosure is the same statewide. We walk you through each one and send it straight to your inbox.
Triple MLS syndication
Your home goes into three multiple listing services, including national syndication. Buyers search across the whole valley, and often relocate into it.
In person when it helps
Through Salem-Keizer and the nearby mid-valley counties we can meet face to face, and the FSBO Survival Kit is hand-delivered. Elsewhere, same service, video-first.
Why the valley, and not just Salem
Where a seller lives rarely decides whether they can sell on their own. It decides how much equity a commission would take from them. On a $500,000 home, a 6% commission is approximately $30,000 — roughly $6,000 for every $100,000 of value. Those figures are estimates and depend on your price and the terms of any agreement.
That math does not change at the county line. So neither do we.
Then how do we get paid?
We invest in your success first. In return we ask for a Google review, a referral to a friend or family member, and, if we have earned your trust, the chance to introduce you to a trusted buyer’s agent when you buy your next home. That referral is how we make our living, and it is why the help is free now.
If you later decide you would rather hand the whole thing to us, our seller clients never pay more than a 1% listing service fee.
Worth saying plainly: this page is general information, not legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing here is a guarantee of savings or of a sale. Service area descriptions are provided for orientation and are not a limitation of the areas we serve.
Frequently asked
Do you work with sellers outside Salem-Keizer?
Yes, and we want to be direct about that. Our service area runs the entire length of the Willamette Valley: the Portland Metro in the north, Salem-Keizer and Corvallis-Albany in the middle, and Eugene and Lane County in the south.
Salem is where we are based. It is not the limit of where we work.
Does being further away change what I get?
No. The offer is identical wherever you are: free FSBO coaching, Triple MLS syndication, every legally required Oregon form, and 1:1 support from a licensed Oregon principal broker.
Coaching happens by video and phone, and your forms are delivered digitally, so your ZIP code does not change the service or the cost. There is no travel surcharge, because there is no charge.
Do you serve the Portland Metro area?
Yes. We work with sellers across Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Columbia and Yamhill counties — Portland, Beaverton, Hillsboro, Gresham, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Oregon City, Wilsonville, Newberg and McMinnville among them.
Do you serve Eugene and Lane County?
Yes. Eugene, Springfield, Cottage Grove, Junction City, Veneta, Creswell, Florence and the rest of Lane County are all inside our service area, on the same free terms.
Which counties do you cover?
In the north: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Columbia and Yamhill. In the middle: Marion, Polk, Linn and Benton. In the south: Lane County.
Rich Schaefer is licensed in the State of Oregon (Broker License #920600119), and the entire Willamette Valley is inside that license.
What is the Triple MLS, and is it the same outside Salem?
Your home is placed in three multiple listing services, including national syndication, so it reaches far more buyers than a single MLS does. That exposure is identical whether you are in Salem, Portland or Eugene.
Buyers search across the whole valley, and often relocate into it. Broad exposure is exactly what helps a home get seen.
Do we have to meet in person?
We can meet in person through Salem-Keizer and the nearby mid-valley counties. Everywhere else in the valley we work by video and phone, and it is the same free service either way.
Most of our out-of-area sellers never need an in-person meeting, though we are glad to arrange one when it helps.
